Nutmeg
Indonesian nutmeg, peeled and graded for export: round nutmeg in grades ABCD, SS and BWP, and oval nutmeg.

Mace is the dried red aril around the nutmeg seed, with a warm, slightly sweeter flavour than nutmeg.
Mace is the aril that covers the nutmeg seed. It is removed by hand after harvest, flattened and dried, and turns from red to orange-brown as it dries. It is used whole or ground in cooking, and processed into oil.
We buy mace directly from the growing regions and work with farmers on export standards and grading before collection, which reduces losses and keeps lots consistent.
